Linux Proxy server setup

Recently I had changed my isp, earlier isp gave us dynamic ip with ppoe, so i can easily configure with adsl-setting. but present isp give us fixed ip with a router, if i connect that router with our lan then each machine gets ip from that router as well as that router working as proxy server too, but thing is that in our lan i need some proxy authintication as well as some rule that i m not able to do with that router. can u tell me how can i set my linux proxy server with that fixed ip?
