Home network setup

Hi;

I have a small home network consisting of two PC;s and a broadband connection. I wonder if the following connection scheme is correct.

PC1 network card connected to PC2 network card1 via a hub or directly via a cable (crossover). PC2 network card2 connected to the broadband cable.

My goal is for PC1 to be able to share files with PC2 and also the hardware installed on it. Also I want PC1 to be able to connect to the Internet through PC2.

Have I miised somthing or will this work as is?

I would also appreciate any tips of books or sites detailing issues like this.

Thank you in advance
