2 Sites, 2 Servers, 1 WAN and DNS
We have our central head office with a Windows 2003 server running as DC.
We are opening a new site a few miles away and want to get active directory replication running between the two for administration purposes.
The DC at the other site will be a Windows 2003 server but at the moment I'am testing with a Windows 2000 (SP4) server. The WAN connection is a 256 / 256kpbs hardware VPN.
Also each DC has two network cards, LAN and WAN which are on different subnets. The WAN addresses need to stay the same for the hardware VPN but the LAN addresses can be changed if nessecary.
DC1, WAN - 192.168.110.x, LAN - 192.168.0.x
DC2, WAN - 192.168.120.x, LAN - 192.168.120.x
I need some help with the DNS configuration on each of these DC's for replication.
Documentation, guides or good advice will be much appreciated.
Please, although I will appreciate all response's I do need an expert on this.
Thank you in advanced.
