Win XP Pro SP2 cannot see workgroup computers.

Hello,

 I have a network with 4 computers (Win XP pro SP2). They are on a wireless network (I am using a DLink DI624 wireless router). All 4 computers connect to the wireless network without a problem. They all can connect to the router and  access the Internet without any issue.

The computers can’t see the other computers in the same workgroup. My workgroup name is “Bushland”. When I go to “View Workgroup Computers” It shows “Bushland” workgroup and only the computer I am on. However it intermittently shows one or two other computers in the workgroup.

Even when I see the other computers I can’t access their desktops as I will be getting an “Access Denied” message.

I have tried the following
1.      Disabled firewalls/virus guards on all 4 computers
2.      Re-ran the network setup Wizard
3.      Enabled NetBIOS  over TCP on all computers
4.      Tried to ping when I can’t see the other computers and got  an error message that the host cannot be found..

This is really annoying as we do a lot of work on the network.

Can someone please help? Am I doing something wrong or is there anything that I have not done? Does the wireless network have anything to do with this?
