dhcp/subnet question

if a dhcp server running mandrake linux 9.0 is connected to a switch, and 3 more hubs are connected to the switch which are subnetted. will the computers/hosts connected to the hubs be able to boadcast dhcp requests to the dhcp server? i'll assume that the dhcp server needs to be configured to give ips to different subnets instead of on subnet. but will the broadcasts get through?

below is a diagram of how this should look like

for this to work, is it possible that only the 3 ports that the hubs connect to the switch on have to be subnetted? and the dhcp port left alone?
