which router to purchase?

I have a Belkin 4 port router that seems to be clogging up my access :-( Comcast won't speak to me unless I switch to a 1 pc configuration, and when I do that everything works sufficiently that we still don't discuss my problem :-( The thing that makes me believe the router is the problem, is that on many mornings one of my PCs has screaming Internet access but two others are totally shut down - that leave's either those PCs or the router as the culprit.

So I am thinking about changing the router.. to see if it helps. The one thing I like about my current router is that it includes a NAT firewall... otherwise its just OK. I assume that you get what you pay for, but I have no idea where to begin looking for a router - this one came from Dell when I bought our most recent PC.

Our network config: 1 WinME machine (generally OK,) 1 Win2K machine (recently a real problem,) 1 WinNT machine (mixed results,) and 1 RH Linux machine (generally OK but frequently off.)
