The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Configureing a network, strange archetecture

This is what I have,
1: A hub - all ports are used by computes/printers/Router - network A
2: A wireless router connected to the hub - network B
3: A computer connected to network A has two Ethernet ports (it runs Windows 2000 profesional
4: A Wireless Access point connected to the computer with two Ethernet ports (its a Microsoft wireless access point). - network C
5: A PDA I want to connect to the wireless network C.

Now Network a and b are up and running correctly however I am having trouble getting C working (I just bought the access point today).
The Microsoft documentation is for setting it for broad band sharing however I dont want to use it for that. I just needs to be a simple router. It has wireless networkingk, 4 genaric Ethernet ports and a port for a broad band modem (which I wont use).
I want to set up the Windows 2000 professional system as a router bettween network A and network C. How do I do this (note: I also have a computer with Windows 2000 Server, If 2000 pro cant route, I can put the duel port card in the 2000 server box. ).

Now I pluged everything in but some issuess arose.
A: If I try to look at a web site on the duel port system (Ill call it computer H) I will get a site not found error (I am assuming that its looking on network C, Ethereal seams to conferm this. ). How do I correct this?

So basicly I need set by set instructions for setting up the network so that the PDA can look at web sites and acceess systems on Networks A and B via network C.

Thank you for your time,
Arrummzen
