I would like to get a list of hostnames referenced by logged in username.

Using active directory.

you can use a free 3rd party piece of software called Angry IP Scanner to show you - ip, hostname, computer name, domain name, USER Name, MAC address for all devices on your network simply by inputting the range you wish to scan... the results can be outputted to either .txt, .csv, or .htm for your manipulation.
