Question
LinkSys router - can't hit 192.168.1.1
I have a BEFW11s4 LinkSys Wireless Access Point / Cable Router with 4-Port Switch. I have two machines using Windows XP (1 Pro, 1 Home) and one using Windows 2000. I cannot access the control page for the LinkSys box. When I put 192.168.1.1 into IE 6.0 I get a box asking for user/pwd. I enter it, and then get the same box twice followed by an HTML page completely empty except for a small "0" in the upper left hand corner.
I tried hitting the reset button for ten seconds to restore to factory defaults but it didn't help. Any ideas?
