router - utp - computer problem

I 've bought a router to put the computers in my room in a network... Okay I started to do all the connections and what do I notice...
1) my modem has only a usb connection => the router hasn't
2) all my computers have a network card, but only for a CAT -4 cable => router CAT- 5
 
How do I solve this problem (and I prefer an other solution than: buy yourself 3 new network cards)

1)  :-(  looks like you need to swap that router for one with USB connection, or call your ISP to swap out your modem for one with Ethernet connection, or connect that PC to the USB modem, and use the router as a simple switch/hub to connect all the PC's together and use Internet Connection Sharing on the one with the modem (Win98SE, WinXP, Win2kPro all have ICS)
2) ALL network cards that have R45 connection will work with CAT5 cable

hm ok problem one is solved (or better is goiing to be solved ;-)
But with two the only possible connection that I have for my network cables are adsl connections (which are cat-4 no?) and cat 5(e) doesn't fit in that tiny hole :-) which at the moment I find very anoying

If they only have ADSL connection - yes, smaller hole, then they are not Ethernet network cards anyway. Are you sure they are not just regular analog modems? Most PC's don't come with DSL modems built in, but most do come with regular modems. No matter what, you can't just use a different cable and connect them to the router/switch. Totally different technologies...
