I used to get connected to the internet at 33.6kbps 90% of the time and 10% at 50.6kbps. After I visited tweakxp.com and made some registry settings changes I am getting connected at 50.6kbps 99% of the time and it's excellent. And I wonder if I can tweak further. When you install modem you will have some registry settings that says to the modem to get connected at certain speeds .... for example: ...33.6 if...and then... 36....if and then ....42...if ..and.. then... etc;...
I wonder if I can delete the settings that are lower then 56, 52 ...etc;... Will this do any good or harm? Can I know of more settings apart from the Cablenut software and its latest settings file?
Please help.
