Wireless network - PC not getting DHCP address

Hi All,

im having some issues configuring my PC to tap into a Airport Express network.

Basically, I have a Mac network that has been working for about 4 months, and the PC was wired into the Netgear Router [which is extended to WiFi through a Apple AirPort Express]
Whats happening is the PC is detecting the network, and connecting to it, but its not recieving the DHCP address, and rather creating its own IP address which is way out of range [i.e. should be 192.168.1.3, but is 168.250.15.8]

I've checked over every setting like 20 times, but with no avail....

Has anyone had a similar problem? or know how to fix this?

what ip is the gateway?   Can you http in to the gateway and see where's your PC connect to?  Normally when the computer not getting the DHCP it will get a loop back ip instead the real out of range ip.  you pc may get the ip from the other dhcp server...

Yeah..when the windows machine doesnt get the dhcp address it will goes back to something in that segment..Okie..does your netgear uses any MAC filtering ?
From your words it appers that you dont have any accesability problem of wireless coverage but its more related to the system settings...can you checke that..

this can be the wireless card drivers on that machine need to be reset or the router need to be reset  have you power down the router ?
