Browse All TopicsI have a problem with our OWA system.
I had to rebuild a domain controller (which was a global catalog) over the weekend. Our exchange frontend came out of it just fine and the rest of the Active Directory system is doing well. There are several other GCs on the network available. Our OWA exchange server (which is located in the DMZ on our PIX firewall) is no longer functioning as an OWA system. Its DNS resolution does not seem to be working though I have pointed it to several valid DNS servers in my network. I cannot launch the Exchange System Manager of that OWA server. It is able to resolve pings for *some* servers in the network but not all. I don't believe that is contacting the global catalogs of any system. I receive 2104 errors about not being able to contact an DCs in the domain.
I checked the firewall policy and it looks pretty open between the internal network with all the DCs and the DMZ.
Is my OWA system somehow dependant on the old (and now gone) Domain Controller? How do I switch it over and reconnect it to the domain?
Thanks.
