Connect two computers point to point with Ricochet wireless modems

I would like to connect two computers running Windows XP Pro to one another to create a point to point network using Ricochet wireless modems connected to the machines via the serial port. I do not have Ricochet service in my area.

Is this possible? If so, please provide a link or some general guidelines for doing so.

If both computers are located in a same office you don't need modem. Install wireless NIC adapter on each computer and use adhoc mode.

Thanks, but that's not what I need. I need to know if it's possible to do this using the Ricochet modems.

And to All - I appreciate that it is possible to do this easily with wireless NICs, etc. I know that - What I don't know is how to do it with the Ricochet modems.

I took the advice of an intern who is working in my building, something along the lines of "just quit whining and figure it out yourself". So here is the solution.

On the bottom of each Ricochet modem is a Modem Number (ex. 03-0026-8970), all that I needed to do was to hook up both modems via serial or USB cable, and then using Hyperterminal set one to receive calls and then dialed its number from the other modem.

Took no more than 5 minutes of, well, what if I did this. Now I have my serial to serial network with several hundred yards range.
