The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. I have two routers. How can I network three computers with a server and another computer on the first router?

My cable modem connects to my first router.

First router connects my gaming computer (Game-com), A windows 2003 server (Server-com), and  my second router.

Second router is wireless capable and connects my laptop (Laptop-com) wirelessly.

I disabled DHCP on the first router for Game-com and Server-com (I gave static address for the two computers, Game-com for forwarding ports to it for reqirements of some specific games, Server-com for also forwarding ports for web server, ftp server, mail server, etc, in it.

My Laptop-com is having dynamic ip address from my second router, which in turn is having a dynamic address (I guess) from the first router.

What I want to do is to install a print server in Server-com so that I can use/connect printer, installed in the server-com, from my Laptop-com.

I guess what I want to know is how IP address in the second router can be recognizable from the computers connected to the first router, and from the computers outside the network,  when the first router is present.
