What are the different ways to Remote Desktop into a PC ? I've recently been in situations where i'd have to log into a clients' PC to troubleshoot some issues but my options seem limited. My company uses a free program called LOGMEIN but you have to download the program and install it on the pc. Are there any easier ways to log into a pc and remote manage it?
My Coworker had my get the IP address of a client from
www.ipchicken.com and tried to use the windows Remote Desktop Connection program to log into the PC but that did not work..... the client did have Remote Desktop and Remote Assistance checked in System Properties.
