Question

How use Devcon to disable a network adapter??

Asked by: pacumming

I tried netsh to disable a network adapter in Windows XP to no avail. Others ahve had this same problem.

I then tried this which did work and I suppose I can put it in a batch file (corect me if I am wrong)
ipconfig /release "Local Area Connection"

I also tried Devcon which I could not get to work. Perhaps someone can tell me what to try based on the below findings on my machine. I did try  using a wildcard for the Broadcom device (my adapter) and it did not work.
Thanks,
Peter
