I have a Netgear WPN824 wireless router, I only have 3 computers connected to this router my desktop, personal laptop, and company laptop.
My Router 192.168.1.1
My Desktop- Direct 192.168.1.2
My laptop Wireless 192.168.1.3
Company laptop Direct 192.168.1.4
DNS Server 192.168.1.1
DHCP Server 192.168.1.1
Company PIX (security gateway) 167.206.230.7
Other then assigning a WEP key and changing the password on the router, I have not done any other configurations such MAC filtering, shutting down broadcasting, etc etc
Here is my problem whenever i get onto my company laptop and try to sign onto the VPN it gives me this error.
"Secure VPN Connection terminated locally by Client.
Reason 412: The remote peer is no longer responding."
When I take the router out of the equation and connect directly to my cable modem I can get onto the VPN ,no problem.
Is there some configuration work I have to do, in order for my VPN to work with my wireless router??
Do I need to open up certain ports, to let the traffic pass through, or do i need to setup NAT or static routes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
