I can VPN in, but can't access other PCs besides the server.

Hello. I'm trying to remotely manage a network with Dameware. I can connect to RRAS server fine through VPN, browse the network, but I can't access/ping any other PCs on the network by name or IP.

This is what the ipconfig /all tells me.

PPP adapter

        Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . : XXXXXXX
        Description . . . . . . . . . . . : WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface
        Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : xxxxxxx
        Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
        IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.205
        Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
        Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.205
        DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254
                                            192.168.1.254

I see that the Subnet Mask is not the same as the network. The network's subnet is 255.255.255.0.

Is that the problem/ any suggestions?Start Free Trial
