I am desperately trying to connect remotely either using remote assistance or via remote desktop to one of my clients.
Unfortunately all I get is "Remote Assistance connection could not be established because the remote host name could not be resolved. Please try again."
I have got the client to remove his router from the equation and send me an invitation ticket.
He has a public static ip address which I can ping and have traced to confirm accessibilty.
He has tried switching off his firewall.
I just don't know what to try next.
I have no problem connecting to other clients AND if I send him an invitation he can connect to me!!
Someting clearly is stopping inbound connections on his laptop but what i just don't know.
