Bridging Between two different Networks

Asked by Todger66 in Miscellaneous Networking, Windows Networking

Tags: , ,

I have a Windows XP Pro PC using a Cable Wireless Modem for Internet access. Then I have a Netcomm V300 device as a VOIP Router that acts as DHCP server etc. The cable modem is plugged into the WAN port of the Netcomm Router. We get voip no problems and Internet access on the wired network. I now have a wireless notebook to introduce into the network. I assume I need to set up a network bridge to give me access to files on the XP machine. I hope this makes sense. Cheers.Start Free Trial
