Protocols that ARP is client to

Hi I have an exam tomorrow morning and I have been trwling the net to find the answer to this question but to no avil.. so pleasde help ASAP
APart from TCP what protocols is ARP client to?
I know IP is one But I was looking for just one more - maybe even if its a sub protocol of IP ...eg does ICMP use arp and if so can you explain with a few sentences to detail it?
