You need a route out the Ouside2 interface.

Browse All TopicsHello you guy
I hope you can help me with this issue. I have a new cisco ASA 5505 and I have to ISP, both DSL. my issue is that I need to separate two inside networks to go out through different ISP (thats for bandwith purposes).
I get stuck when i configure two NAT, one for each inside and each outside.
I did this:
global (outside) 1 interface
global (outside2) 2 interface
nat (inside) 1 172.16.1.0 255.255.255.0 dns
nat (inside2) 2 172.16.2.0 255.255.255.0 dns
But only the outside works, the outside2 doesn't. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but what i need is to be able to allow a network to go through one link, and the other through the second link.

Hi chouckham:
That was the first I thought. My issue comes when I have 2 DSLs and I get the IP address by DHCP. I cannot have the link gateways.
One possible answer is to set a router between the ASA and one DSL, configure a route an set a static route since PBR is not supported.
I wish i had another router, but i don´t.
Hello chouckham:
Actually i cannot do what you said
hostname(config)# route outside <remote LAN IP network address> <remote LAN Subnet Mask> <dafult gateway of ISP 1>
hostname(config)# route outside2 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 <default gateway of ISP 2>
Remember i need to reach internet trough different links. if I configure as you say, i can only reach internet using link outside2.

Not sure if that is possible with the ASA. I believe two outside interfaces are for failover only.
