Asked by jdroger2 in Miscellaneous Networking, Network Design & Methodology, Network Routers
We manage the network for an officew building that provides internet access to multiple tenants through an 8x8 fiber pipe from our ISP. We get an ethernet handoff from the ISP which then routes to one of our switches, and from there goes directly to some statically configured tenants as well as to our Zyxel ZyWall which manages our dynamically configured tenants. (in our office tenants must ask for a static IP, otherwise they are behind our firewall). We are looking for a way to monitor and limit tenant bandwidth usage and provide QoS as we have a VOIP tenant who is experiencing audio loss problems. We use HP Procurve switches. We would like to continue using the hardware we have in place as much as possible, as cost is an issue. However we can add computers to the topology fairly easily and cheaply as we have a ready supply.
I've attached a picture of the network topology.
Thanks,
Matt
