Asked by drtopserv in Miscellaneous Networking, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Batch Scripting
I have 100 computer clients with printer server, All in a domain.
my problem is that each user in a domain when he/she log into the computer, the network printer doesn`t set up for him..I as a network admin needs to config the printer manually for each user.
by using the UNC for the server printer (\\182.40.172.2\printerNam
e) for example then choose the relevant printer (the one which is close physically to the user) and click on it twise to set it up for him.
i need away to set the printer remotly by the computer name not by user .
means each user log inot a specific computer will have the printer confgured to that computer.
without using the AD.
how to?
