I write to all of you to see if you can help me on e structure for web server. My company runs 100% web based. I am on a VPS and it is starting to give some issues. I would like to set up a dedicated server but I also think I need 2 servers in case one is down. My idea is to have the app run on both servers Server1 and server2. Data and documents uploaded ect will be on a linux base server. Here are my questions
1- Is there a company that just routes to IP for example if server1 is up then go to this IP if server1 down then route to server2.
If I do this how can I update the server with changes on the application as I have programmers all the time programming and editing bug on the live app.
Or what do you think is the best possible set up.
