I'm trying to script microsofts NMCAP to send me an alert everytime an certain condition occurs. I have the filter working good in the GUI, but when I add it to the command line, it doesn't work. The first problem is that the filter is very long, so it can't fit on the command line. I pipe it in as follows:
nmcap.exe /network * /Capture <filter-file.txt /File results.cap
I've also tried nmcap /network * /Capture /File result.cap /SetDefaultParser parsefiel.nmf
(the nmf being the parser that works fine in the gui)
Thanks
