Upgrading the PDM of PIX I am afraid is almost impossible for a mere mortal user due to the Cisco policy. So it is likely that there are any other solutions?

there is another issue of configuration PIX 501 for L2TP inbuilt client for VPN connection of that Mac to the LAN and Mac mini srv that is behind that router.
Well the only other option I can think of is to use the CLI in an ssh session. But I can imagine that it would be quite a switchover when you're used to working with the PDM.....

...sorry for a little pause. CLI makes no sence as for a normal user. Could you please find an alternative way to get access to PDM with its older version of Java Plug-in or, although it is a further issue to update PIX 501 to a latest state with proper Java Plug-in version that should give me a possibility to get access with my Mac.

But it is not only the problem, in browser Safari I've got a message while opening this PDM like " One error when opening the page. For more information, choose Window > Activity." there in Activity I found following - Please find this message here in attached file. pic-of-screen.tiff
