Browse All TopicsI am monitoring a Cisco 2960G switch with Nagios. I am getting green (OK) for ping, port 1 link status and uptime. Port 3 link status is orange with the error: SNMP problem No data received from host. If I unplug the network cable in port 1 on the switch the port stays green in Nagios so it is not monitoring port 1. The switch has an IP address on the vlan and SNMP is enabled read only. What do I have configured wrong?

Used snmpwalk to find out correct interface. Command should be ifOperStatus.10101, ifOperStatus.10102, ifOperStatus.10103.
