Thanks, ltorres321, but it didn't work because the device doesn't show up as a drive on the computer. I ended up giving up on trying to retrieve this file.

Browse All TopicsI accidentally deleted an important file from my Sony ICD-P210 digital voice recorder. The manual says there is not way to recover files but i don't believe it. I need a way to recover this file or make the drive show up in "my computer" so I can undelete it. Is that possible?

I dont know what type of hard drive is in the device so I dont know if this would work.. The way Windows deletes files this program will recover items that where deleted from the Recycle bin not of the device but its worth a try if you reall need the info
