Best Disaster recovery Options
In regards to getting Production on the DR what are the best options and what all is needed to take care

Veeam Backup and Replication is one of the Best backup products for VMware
Are both sites on VM as if so Hanccocka's suggestion should do it all if not than need to understand if AD is already in or this more of planning or your setting the DR ?

Its Physical in the production and we are planning to go Virtual possibly on the DR to save cost, so would Veeam still help in some way ?

Veeam will not help you with your physical environment. For a complete virtual environment though it will. We, make use of Veeam to replicate a handful vm's from our HQ to DR site. We also have handful production machines at our DR site that we replicate back to HQ. All done with veeam. We tested the DR procedures earlier this year for 1 VM at each site and they tested out fine.
