What does Bandwidth really mean in Cisco SDM?

I have a cisco 3725 router and cisco SDM 2.5.  On the interface status I have a box that says "Bandwidth Usage" and it has a bar chart next to it and a percent next to that.  This is not the same as the Bandwidth Charts on that page but is above it.

I am trying to find out exactly what exactly this bandwidth usage is telling me.  Is it input usage, output usage, both? Is it based on bandwdith statment on that interface?    When I compare to my MRTG it is not the same so unsure exactly what it I am seeing and need to know.
