Hi Guys.
I have attatched a basic diagram of the system we are looking to put in place.
this is for the system proposed in this question
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Networking/Windows_Networking/Q_23381917.htmlI just had a few questions.
1. Will this system work?
2. What sort of Cisco Switch will be needed to manage the VLANs?
3. Is it ok to have Hubs between the Cisco Switch and the offices? The hubs are only needed to create more ports to plug into for each building. What should be used here?
4. Is it ok to have the IP phones on their own VLAN?
5. Is splitting up the VLANs by MAC addresses the way to go?
6. If an office decided to install its own SBS server how will this affect everything? Would it be possible for an office to install their own router and put that on a separate VLAN. They can then plug into their own router as they please.
Cheers guys, appreciate the help.
