Your toast. IF you have a saved config somewhere you can do a reset of the system and import the preferences back in.(the admin username and password does not get copied over to the file) You could try to boot in to safe mode by hitting the reset button with the device plugged in. However I do not think that the admin password/username resets on a safe mode boot. the only way around would be to reset the preferences to factory default and reconfigure the sonicwall.
I had this issue in the past and now make sure when we have changes that are made we have a backup of the prefernce file.
Sorry i wish i had better insructions/hope for you.
BTW sonicwalls are pretty good pieces of equipment when it is all said and done.

It's possible the previous admin changed the f/w to a non-standard management port, or it might only work on port 443 (ssl). Try https://x.x.x.x (firewall's LAN interface IP).
Do you get a prompt when you connect to the serial port via hyperterminal or something like that? Even if the management url is non-standard, you should be able to get a command prompt via a serial connection. You might have to be very explicit with the serial port settings ie baud rate. I would try 115200 first, go down from there if no luck.
Notwithstanding that, once you do get to a login dialog, if you don't have the current admin password, I think you're screwed. You can do a force-reset on the box to revert to factory default settings for everything. There should be one of those small "hidden" reset buttons somewhere. There might also be a safe mode boot option.
Hope that helps at least some.
