How do I monitor more services on Nagios Monitoring?

Asked by bemara57 in Network Operations, Network Analysis Software, System Diagnostic Software

I'm using an incredible open source program called http://nagios.org. For anybody who has set this up already, how do I monitor more OS services? For example, my Nagios server is installed on a Debian Linux machine. This machine is monitoring many Windows 2003 machines remotely. Out of the box, Nagios monitors these things on my Windows boxes:

 C:\ Drive Space
 CPU Load
 Explorer
 Memory Usage
 NSClient++ Version
 Uptime
 W3SVC

How do I add more services to monitor, such as MS-SQL, Exchange, etc, etc, etc? I couldn't find any documentation on this. There's many I want to monitor in my list of services.Start Free Trial
