Hi,
I am having a Windows 2003 acting as the DC. There are about 250 Workstations connected to this DC. They are on the same subnet. The DC also serves as DHCP Server.
Quite Often, I have seen that when users try to logon to the DC, they get an error ; "Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not found. Please try again later.:
I have to either wait for some time (It may not work also), or disjoin the PC from the domain and then rejoin. This problem is intermittent. Rejoining them works fine. The event log on the DC does not show any warning / error which could be linked to this. I am worried that the AD may be an issue, But when AD is tested, ti does not report any error.
What could be the issue ?
Thanks
Regards
Jagdish
