help with file shareing

i have 2 computers connected wirelessly with a wireless router.  i'm having problems sending files from 1 box to the other box.  i was wondering if i can connect an ethernet wire from 1 to the other to file share between the 2 comps. 1 box is vista hp and the other is 2k pro.  they are networked together and you can access 1 box from the other both ways but when i try to send a file from 1 to the other the comp stopps responding and thats if i send a file either way. please help me with this cause i'm ready to pull my hair out..Start Free Trial
