TTY connection throught mgt router-cisco

Asked by njcomp3 in Network Management, Network Operations, Network Design & Methodology

We currently have a management router with and ip address of 192.168.133.2

We have an ASYNC card on the back with an octupus cable connecte to
various console ports of our switches

To console into the switch via the mgt router I type

telnet 192.168.133.2 2033

This takes me to the management router prompt..than i log in..than i am at the console
port of the switch..where i log in again.

I am having an issue with one of the connections...

Is there a way in can log into the router itself (with no tty port after the ip address) than  use a different command to utilize the async connections?

i.e

#telnet 2033 or connect tty 2033........etc?Start Free Trial
