Suggestions to centrally manage Cisco devices?

Asked by bornskir in Network Management, Networking Hardware

Can anyone recommend a good software package or appliance that I can use to centrally manage Cisco devices (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.)?

We have over 200 devices in locations around the world and it is a pain to manage them.  For example, our network manager just left and we had to change all of the enable passwords.  We had to log in to each device separately.

I was hoping there would be something out there that I can use to inventory our devices, put out configuration changes, and possibly software version too.

I've been looking at Cisco's CiscoWorks LMS, but it's not the most intuitive application to setup and use.

Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.
