To get there upon boot up hit F2 scroll down to security and go from there. Be sure to type case sensitive and follow with "alt" then "enter" in the password field.Try to remove the cmos battery and see ? Do you still have the warranty for this ? i would suggest you to call dell support if you have warranty
You need to call Dell for resetting the password. Also you shoul provide all the contact info as it is needed to verify the ownership of the system. After they give you the password, you have to press Ctrl + Enter to clear the password.
