Asked by androidx219 in Network Management, SSH / Telnet Software
Hello Experts,
I have searched enough in google to find a SSH Server software, that could allow un-encrypted sessions. The reason i am looking for an unencrypted ssh is because the only way i can transfer data from the filesharing program i use is through port forwarding through ssh and i have to transfer gigabytes of data through the channel. An overhead of encryption is simply a wastage of bandwidth and disastrous for my pocket as i have to pay for the internet connection i use on per MB basis. I already use the compression feature. I know that blowfish encryption is light but i want ZERO encryption on my ssh sessions. Any clue if such a version of ssh server software exists, or any tweak than can make openssh, encryption free.(a preferably free solution and the sofware should work on windows/cygwin will be appreciated).
And I am least concerned for the security, so please don't start a lecture on that.
