With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? Collecting data for Migration

Unfortnuately this is a migration from Novell to Win2k. Why would I want to do that? We'll a major application vendor that we don't want to leave is dictating our move.

Here is the predicament. We have several thousand users in our domains and then we have a few hundred who may or may not be in a domain, but are all are in our Netware environment (Netware 4.11 an 3).

The majority of these remaining users are running the bidery client from Microsoft rather than the the Novell Client, thus no ZenWorks. They all log into one of three Novell Servers.

We want to collect:
Workstation Name
MAC Address
Whether or not they also login to a domain and if so which domain (There are several) and using what logon account name
What protocols they have installed
What printers are being used on either Novell or NT

I have looked at Heyena, http://www.systemtools.com/hyena/report_frame.htm but am open to any suggestions and related experience you have. The more detailed you can be about the tool or tools you used and their respective advantages and shortcomings, what tools you looked at but did not end up using and why.

The best and most detailed explanation is going to get the points here. As an EE member I understand grading and will be generous if you hit the mark.
