Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.

It is a messy crapplet to clean up, but here are teh cleanup details.

When Winshow.dll is running, it cannot be deleted. But it will only run when your browser is open, so the quickest cleanup comes from closing your browser before running PestPatrol or attempting manual removal.
If you are finding Winshow in C:\System Volume Information\_restore, you will not be able to remove it with most removal tools because Windows protects this folder. To flush this folder manually:

1. On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
2. Click Properties.
3. Click the System Restore tab.
4. Check Turn off System Restore.
5. Click Apply, and then click OK.
6. Restart the computer. Everything, including Winshow, will be purged from the restore folder.
7. Run PestPatrol.
8. Reboot, and re-enable System Restore.
 
 Stop Running Processes:

Kill these running processes with Task Manager:

c:\documents and settings\all users\start menu\msupdater.exe
 
 Unregister DLLs:

Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:

profilepath+\application data\winlink\winlink.dll
profilepath+\application data\winshow\winshow.dllmshp.dll
winshow.dll

 
 Clean Registry:

Remove these registry items (if present) with RegEdit:

 Remove Directories:

Remove these directories (if present) with Windows Explorer:

profilepath+\application data\winlink
profilepath+\application data\winshow
 
That should clean up your problem. Investing in a personal firewall and some anti-spy software would be a good idea. These kinds of problems are becoming more and more prevalent.
