Hello I have been fighting a power chute issue, and have a new ups, and a new cable, I connected to the web iterface, and it now says AVR Trim Active what does this mean? also what are the recomended setups for this. Thank you in advance

This is what I found...
A Smart-UPS, Back-UPS Pro, or PowerStack has been using its AVR Trim feature to decrease a high input voltage continuously for at least one hour. This may indicate that the quality of the input voltage provided to the UPS needs to be improved.
The following conditions change this status:
The input voltage returns to normal (No Longer Extended Overvoltage event).
The input voltage becomes too high to be safely decreased (Power Failed event).
Recommended Action:
Make sure that the Upper Bypass Limit is set to its highest setting, and that the Sensitivity setting is set to Low (Power Parameters (smart-signaling UPS only) in the Device Properties Dialog Box). These settings, which are the default settings for these parameters, cause the UPS to use its AVR Trim feature less frequently, and for shorter periods of time.

That's definitely a Powerchute question. Too bad APC's tech support for Powerchute sucks so badly.
AVR is Automatic Voltage Regulation.
AVR Trim means, to me, that the UPS is handling an overvoltage condition on your AC line.
