Importing LDIF to Netware 5.1

All,

Have some trouble with find a good solution to import a LDIF file in to a Netware 5.1 (sp7) Tree.

Basically have to move all of the users in Org Roles from Security Equals in to the Role Occupants as one demented admin failed to follow procedure and dumped all new users in via the Security Equals section. This has really annoyed the wrong person and they want it back to the standard. Problem is that he's wants the 200+ Org Roles modified wrongly cleaned up.

I've exported all the Org Roles with DSreport and formated them in to an LDIF file with all users to be placed in the Role Occupants. Hopefully in the correct ldif format.

Can ICE do this job or is there a better tool out there?

Any suggestions or guidance?

Have you checked into EMU?  (Enterprise User and Import Management Utility) http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/tools/1477.html

It can be pricey, considering that the minimum Corporate purchase is $1,000 US, but it looks like it will bulk-manage almost any attributes you want it to.  It's available with a 30-day eval license, and it doesn't say if it's a limited-functionality license or if it just expires after 30 days.

Thanks for those links.

EMU is cripple-ware, so you can't really get a feel for it.

The JRB Utilities tools are looking good, their Orgroles and Ormemb could do the job.

Will post back with an update.

Thanks fo the links EMU couldn't really help out with what I needed, but the Orgroles tools did the trick and the guys there where very helpful

Yeah, JRB Utilities are a gold standard for 3rd party tools in the NetWare/eDirectory environment. Glad ya like them - one day I hope to  be able to afford a set.
