Because i don't want to go through the work of building a netware server in order to get access to the data.
In the mean time i found out that there IS such a thing as netware file system driver for linux and windows.

) is the successor product to NetWare (altho NetWare is still available --> http://www.novell.com/netw are). OES gives you the *choice* (something you'll never get from Redmond) of either a Linux *or* a NetWare kernel. Take your pick.
Long Answer: Of course not, you honestly think Redmond is going to implement/support anything like that?
Longer Answer: And not only that, XP may have already trashed the NetWare partition. Windoze is stoopid and will happily overwrite anything it doesn't understand.

Question: Why are you making this so difficult? Download NetWare from Novell's site and install it without a license - it'll default to the 2-user trial license. Mount the disks, get your data. It's no more difficult to do that than to load up a Linux server or a Windoze box.
