iPod screws up Novell client drive mappings

Asked by billmercer in Novell Netware Network Software

Tags: drive, novell, first, ipod

After connecting an iPod to a machine with the latest Novell client, I see weird networking issues, like a network location that points to its own parent, folders from different volumes in one place, etc.
I'm pretty sure the iPod software is to blame, and I can fix the issue by fiddling around with the iPod's default drive letter, etc, but I'd like to have a more proactive solution. Specifically, I'd like to find a way to prevent it from happening in the first place, short of actually banning iPods.
