Netware 65. + arcserve 11.1 (sp3)

we have a client running with Novell server (netware 6.5) and Arcserve 11.1 (sp3) for backup.
We noticed that the \Arcserve\temp folder has lots of *.sav files. For me temp folders has to be clean. Can we savely delete these files?
I suppose that Arcserve must clean this folder, why is this not happening?
