Netware 6.5 Startup Problem

Netware Server 6.5 SP6 - HP Proliant ML370 G3
This server has been great for a couple of years now and solid for the last four months after applying SP6.  I have not had any problems.  But the day this problem occurred we had multiple power surges and outages.  The APC unit's battery was in need of replacement.
I thought this was a hardware problem but after running the HP server diag. test all tests ok.
It starts ok up to the loading ADPT160M.HAM drivers and it displays INIT FAIL on both controllers.
Then "volume sys could not be mounted. some or all volume segments cannot be located".
Stage 2,3,4, and 5 load ok but of course, I cannot load the sys volume.
Then at the ":" prompt, I can type the following lines to load the drivers manually and they seem to load ok.
load adpt160m.ham slot=10012
load adpt160m.ham slot=10011
Any ideas where to start on this?  Thanks.Start Free Trial
