SLPDA Hangs Migrated Netware 6.5 sp7 server

Tags: Novell, Netware OES, 6.5 sp7, Whenever I migrate a Netware 6.5 sp7 to a New server (HP DL380 G5) the migration goes well except when I try to load slpda. When I Load SLPDA it hangs the server.

Whenever I  migrate a Netware 6.5 sp7 to a new server (HP DL380 G5) the migration goes well except I cant get the SLPDA to load. When I load the SLPDA it hangs the server. There are no error messages. I lose my system console prompt. I have configured the server just like the source server. When I type m slp I get the slp.nlm is loaded. On other servers when I type m slp I get back the slp.nlm that is loaded plus I get slp.mpm is loaded. I have installed different versions of slp. I have applied all the latest support packs for the HP DL380 G5. I have gone into monitor and made sure the settings were set up the same as the source server. I have tried recreating the slpda in NWadmin. Has anyone seen or heard of a problem like this? I should also mention that I have migrated servers that are not the DA and they work fine.  Its only servers that are the DA.Start Free Trial
